The equivalent of 1/8 beef, the Mini Grass-Fed Beef Share gives you the same variety and savings of a larger share without filling your entire freezer. Best of all, you get everything for an average price of $11.50 per pound, or the price you'd pay for our ground beef in the grocery store. That's an overall average savings of 25%+ over retail.

Here's a sample of what you might get:

• Butcher’s Choice: Brisket OR flank steak OR tri tip 
• 1 chuck roast
• 20 pounds ground beef (in 1-1/2# packages)
• 3 ribeye steaks
• 2-3 New York steaks
• 1 sirloin steak
• 2 tenderloin filets
• 2 packages stew meat
• 1 package short ribs
• 1 package osso bucco

Mini shares come in at about 80 pounds (hanging weight) and yield between 55 pounds of cut meat for your freezer. The hanging weight price for an 1/8 (mini) share is $7.00 per pound. 

The cows are harvested on the farm for a fee of $150.00 per animal ($18.75 per mini share) and transported to Valley Meat Services in Wallowa. Valley Meat charges $1.15 per pound to cut and "wrap" (vacuum-seal) the meat.
